What is JobBoard.io?

JobBoard.io is for recruiters, enterprise and online communities who are looking to launch a job board within minutes. We offer a complete hosted job board solution with a resume database, advanced eCommerce, analytics, reporting, social media integration and more.

JobBoard.io offers an intuitive streamlined dashboard where users can track and manage job listings, as well as view real-time revenue, payments, and applicant information. Users can post jobs and add additional content to the job board with one click, as well as set up a ZipRecruiter backfill by typing in keywords, location, and radius.

JobBoard.io is fully self-service for employers. Employers can post and manage their jobs from their own employer account. Candidates can also create their own LinkedIn style profiles and use these to apply for vacancies.

Users can optimize their blogs and listings for SEO to attract more candidates without having to manually write and test titles and meta-data. JobBoard.io automatically enhances web addresses, meta descriptions, and text, and makes it easy to boost job listings on social media with built-in Twitter and Facebook sharing.

JobBoard.io is flexible and customizable, and advanced users can insert custom CSS and HTML for further personalization. It is optimized for mobile devices and can be used with the organization’s own custom domain. The software is cloud-based and continually being updated and enhanced.

Can I run a job search website with JobBoard.io?

JobBoard.io allows you to develop your own job search site. Employers, recruiters, and companies can pay you to post jobs. We can also include job search results from across the web. You'll be paid for clicks on these search results.

Can I run an internal careers page for my company with JobBoard.io?

Yes, you can list your own internal vacancies and disable public postings.

Can I add custom pages and blogs?

Yes! We include a blogging platform as part of JobBoard.io. Custom Pages and Blogs can dramatically increase your level of searchable content and drive additional traffic to your website from Google and other search engines.

Can I use my own branded Top Level Domain (TLD), like www.mydomain.com?

Absolutely! We work with any domain or DNS provider including the following:

Do you offer an app?

We don't offer an app. Our focus has and will continue to be building the best mobile responsive experience possible. We've chosen to do this over native apps for a couple of reasons:

1. It allows us to focus all our efforts on the web experience, rather than split resources across Web, iOS, and Android and winding up in a scenario where the native apps always trail the web apps in capabilities.

2. We think our clients are better served focusing on marketing their websites - getting traction on, and marketing a native app is extremely expensive and time-consuming. There's a reason you see so many app commercials!

3. In our experience, consumers keep a few core apps on their phones. They rarely tend to keep/use smaller niche apps, especially in the job board space.

How do I verify my domain with Google?

There are only two ways that you can link you JobBoard.io site with your Google Webmaster Tools account:

1. Use your Google Analytics account to link.

2. Use your Domain Name Provider.

Please note it is best if you are using a custom domain (as opposed to your default site.jobboard.io domain)

How do I change the homepage layout, images or text?

1. Login to your JobBoard.io admin
2. Click ‘Site Config’
3. Click ’Themes’
4. Click ‘Edit Homepage Layout’

How do I add a contact form?

We don't have in-built contact form support, but you can use a form provider, such as TypeForm, then copy in the code.

To do this:

1. Go to TypeForm.com and click 'Get Started Free'
2. Click 'Create New from Template'
3. Choose 'Contact Form'
4. Then, 'Use This Template', and follow the on-screen instructions to edit the contact form to your needs
5. When complete, go to 'Share', then choose Embed
6. Copy the code and go to (or create) your 'Contact Page' in JobBoard.io
7. Click the code icon in the editor (</> icon) and paste in your code
8. Done!

Can I offer coupons?

Absolutley, go to Coupons under the E-commerce menu in your admin to create coupons. With coupons in place:

1. Open the E-Commerce dropdown in the sidebar, and choose Products.
2. Click Edit on the individual product.
3. Tick Allow Coupons.
4. Click Save.
5. Repeat for any additional products that you'd like to enable coupons for.

How do I take E-commerce payments?

Jobboard.io allows you to use either Stripe, PayPal, or Braintree as your payment provider.

You can create a Stripe account directly from our admin panel - it couldn't be any easier. Stripe supports payments in the US, Canada, UK, and mainland Europe with more territories on the way. See the growing list here.

If your country isn't listed, Paypal provides support for almost all countries.

Can I make job listings free?

Sure. You can easily make your job board listings free - in fact, this is the default setting until you've set up your Stripe/Paypal account. Don't forget you can also easily add Google AdSense to your website too!

How do I add a featured employer?

To change the featured employers:

1. Click Site Config in your JobBoard.io admin panel, and open the Themes & Customization tab.
2. Click Edit Homepage Layout.
3. Located the Employer Widget, and click Edit.
4. Type the Employer in the search field and click them to add them. Click Delete to remove them.

How do I add Google Analytics tracking code to my site?

Simply follow the steps below:

1. If you don't already have an account with Google Analytics, sign up here.
2. In Google Analytics, get your tracking ID - it should be a set of numbers and letters like "UA-12345-67"
3. Open your JobBoard.io admin panel.
4. Go to Site Config and choose the Integrations tab.
5. In the Google Analytics box, you'll see a field labeled Google Analytics Account. Copy and paste your Google Analytics Tracking ID in this field.

That's it! You should be up and running with website tracking.

Do you support Featured Job Listings?

Yes. You can easily create a highlighted Featured listing as an upsell. Featured listings also remain pinned to the top of the jobs list for a predetermined number of days. You set your price for a featured listing in the admin portal.

Can I customize the look & feel of my job board?

Yes. You can choose from our growing library of pre-built themes or you can customize your site directly with CSS and HTML.

Do you support multiple active languages?

Unfortunately, we only support one active language on a job board at a time. However, there are many platforms that let you add additional languages to your site.

To achieve this, we recommend bablic. The translation can be done automatically, by yourself, or by a professional translator.

For example, your main site language could be French, then you could let users select from Norwegian, English or German.

How do I get an RSS feed of my jobs?

You can easily access an RSS feed of your jobs under Job Settings -> Syndication.

What currencies do you support?

We can process transactions in 139 currencies.
If you’d like to charge international customers in their local currency, Stripe will automatically convert funds, with a 2% fee on top of market rates.

Does it integrate with WordPress/SquareSpace/Wix?

We don't integrate directly with it, but you have a few options available:

1. You can add a feed of jobs to your site using an RSS widget, such as FeedWind, using the RSS feed link from the Syndication Tab in the Admin panel (https://yoursubdomain.jobboard.io/jobs.rss).
2. Your JobBoard.io site can run on a sub-domain of your site, such as jobs.yourdomain.com
